The legal team of Vakhnina & Partners has won another significant victory in the Intellectual Property Rights Court.

On March 18, 2024, a statement of claim was filed on behalf of our client for the early termination of the legal protection of the SPRAYTEC trademark owned by ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS INC. in connection with a violation of its terms of use. The case was considered by the Intellectual Property Rights Court, which, thanks to the professional work of our patent attorneys, ruled in favor of our client.

Despite the complexity of the case and the need to take into account current judicial practice, the team was able to clearly and professionally present the client's position, which led to the successful conclusion of the dispute.

As a result, on April 17, 2025, the court decided to terminate the legal protection of the disputed trademark ahead of schedule, strengthening our client's position in the market.
