"Vakhnina and Partners" attended Eurasian conference EPAA-2025 in Yerevan (Armenia)

The Vakhnina & Partners team participated in the second Conference of the Eurasian Patent Attorneys Assembly (EPAA-2025) in Yerevan, Armenia from June 12 to 14, 2025. The conference hosted participants from more than 11 countries.

The following topics were discussed:

• Interaction of international IP organizations. Opportunities and prospects;

• Industrial designs in Eurasian countries;

• Unfair competition in Eurasian countries;

• Compulsory licensing in the Eurasian region: legal aspects, international experience and prospects for practical application;

• Procedural issues of trademark registration in national offices;

• Patenting of inventions in the European Economic Area. From pharmaceuticals to artificial intelligence;

• The responsibility of Internet sites for violating IP rights;

• The conference was attended by representatives of 80 countries, representatives of Patent Offices and International organizations, including WIPO and EAPO.

Alexey Vakhnin was awarded a Diploma from the Eurasian Patent Attorneys Assembly in Yerevan

(Armenia) for his great contribution to the preparation and organization of the II AEPP International Conference.
