Our legal team recently secured a remarkable win in the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.

We represented a client who filed a lawsuit seeking early termination of trademark protection due to non-use. The trademark owner is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. According to established court practice, such disputes are usually considered not by the Intellectual Property Court, but by the court handling the bankruptcy case.

However, our team successfully demonstrated that this particular case warranted a full hearing on the merits, despite prior precedents.

The court accepted our arguments and proceeded to consider the case. As a result, the disputed trademark was officially removed from legal protection ahead of schedule.
